Jillís Brown Rice Protein Pudding
(gluten free) - serves 8

2 1/2 c. soy milk
1 c. brown rice grits
4 egg whites
1 heaping scoop vanilla flavored
   whey protein isolate
3/4 honey (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine grits and soymilk in a large pot. Bring to a boil, constantly stirring. Reduce to a simmer until mixture thickens. Once thickened, remove from heat, add the egg whites and protein powder. Coat a 1.6 liter (or 1 quart) casserole dish with oil, and pour grit mixture into dish. Cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, on the center rack. Check every 5 minutes thereafter. Contents should be golden brown around the edges and firm in the center. Let cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

(3 cups of water can be substituted for milk and eggs.)

Serving suggestions: Sometimes I like to add fresh fruit and soymilk for a great post-workout meal, or breakfast. Other times, I add nuts and spices for a snack, or for dinner I will add some steamed vegetables. Delicious. Nutritious. Kids love it, too!

Training is for real people, living real lives. I know you moms are out there; Iím a mother, too. Iím the proud mom of six wonderful children. Iíve been in the health and fitness industry since 1981. It was not until after having my sixth child that I began competing. You heard me right: after my sixth child. There are no excuses! Failure is not an option!

Training includes both your cardiovascular, as well as, weight training, for a month. This training, alongside a sound nutritional program, and upbeat state of mind, will bring you the results you not only hope for, but deserve after working so hard.

When you set yourself up in all four categories, make your health a priority, you cannot go wrong. Expect results. Your results are the sum total of your commitment. You and you only, can determine the outcome. A detailed questionnaire and recent photo will need to be submitted.

Action Plan

TIGHT takes an in-depth look at your lifestyle, past history, current status, and then sets goals for further success. TIGHT will:

  • Create an action plan thatís applicable to you, your circumstances, and motivation level.
  • Take a close look at your dietary habits, make changes in stages to suit your needs, and chart your personal progress.

For what purpose would one look into a Nutrition and Weight Management Program? When you:

  • Are training hard, and not getting the results youíd like.
  • Are not satisfied with your current eating habits.
  • Feel run down and easily tire.
  • Suffer from recurrent illnesses.
  • Know you could be doing something better for yourself but donít know where to start.

An in-depth questionnaire, and other forms, must be filled out prior to program set-up. An analysis of your lifestyle habits, fitness level, and health can take up to two weeks.

Nutrition

TIGHT offers healthy eating plans designed and tailored specifically just for you. A detailed questionnaire and recent photo will need to be submitted. Some of the benefits of having a nutritional plan set up for you are:

  • No need to track calories, protein, carbohydrates, or fat. When you follow the plan, as outlined, it has already been calculated for you, eliminating the need to keep a food diary and/or track nutrients.
  • You can save a tremendous amount of time and effort by simply not having to plan the meals ahead for yourself. All you need to do is shop and prepare.
  • Eliminates stress by easing up your schedule to allow you more time for the things you enjoy, your family, and yes... your workout.

Stats

Stats are taken weekly, and include:

  • Your weight
  • Body fat percentage test
  • Measurements

Be sure to wear clothing that will allow easy access to the following areas:
Women:
  • Upper right arm
  • Abdominal area
  • Upper right thigh
Men:
  • Upper right chest
  • Abdominal area
  • Upper right thigh

Generally, both men and women can wear a t-shirt and loose shorts. Compression clothing is discouraged because it does not allow for accuracy, due to the compression effect.

Stats take between 5-8 minutes, and you're done!

Stats are crucial to your health and fitness regimen, as they not only hold you accountable from week to week, but also allow you to see your hard earned efforts, after a week's worth of staying focused. This encourages you to stay the course, as you find you really CAN reach your goals, as long as you stay committed.
